An Update on Archive/Counter-Archive's Activities

Archive/Counter-Archive Summer School 2021 is comprised of two intensives that will introduce graduate students to critical issues in activist media and archival methodologies. The Summer School will feature numerous guest speakers including artists, archivists, theorists and activists. Students are expected to attend both intensives.

Archive/Counter-Archive and Public Journal are pleased to announce a competition for a two-year MITACS Accelerate Post-Doctoral Fellowship position hosted by York University and Public Access Journal of interdisciplinary art.

Archive/Counter-Archive is delighted to share the recording of Dr. Ana Rita Morais's Working Papers Series Talk, Remediating the [AR]chival Impulse, which took place on Tuesday, January 26, 2021. 

Dr. Dave Colangelo's book The Building as Screen: A History, Theory, and Practice of Massive Media has received the Anne Friedberg Innovative Scholarship Award of Distinction from the Society for Cinema and Media Studies.
